About Us

We are a group of local people, who love mountains and nature. We live near the mountains. For these reasons, our work guarantees our customers the security, friendless by our workers.

In  2009 the refuge it was renovated by the new administration staff (Fernando Iza ). Bunk beds, mattresses, table, kitchenware and even toilets have been replaced for new ones. Projects of extending the refuge facilities are being considered.

FERNANDO IZA 

is  a great mountaineering experience of more than 8  years of climbing in all Ecuador, but also , Peruvian ,Swiss   Such experience allowed him to lead challenge routes and expeditions with much success.

He has attended important courses, such as:

* Mountain Guides Course by ASEGUIM (Ecuadorian Association of Mountain Guides), in october 2005.

* Mountain Guides Evaluation by ENSA (Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme) in October 2006. An event organized by the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador and ENSA of France.

* PRE course UIAGM, In may 2007.

He speaks fluent Spanish, English, also speaks some German, French, Hebrew.

He is very friendly, smart and very patient with everyone.
